Alexis, IL: Alexis Certified Dealers met at Alexis Fire Equipment in Alexis, Illinois, from September 24-26 for the Annual AFE Dealer Conference. The 3-day long conference held from Sunday to Tuesday welcomed the network of dealers from different parts of the country including Apparatus Plus, Apollo Fire Equipment Company, Countryside Truck Service, Emergency Apparatus, Jones Fire Equipment Sales and Service, LaFRANCE Equipment, Lakes Region Fire Apparatus, MJR Equipment.
The goal of the event was to provide education to the AFE Dealers regarding the Alexis product line, facility expansion, services and technology. The meeting included a detailed breakdown of various apparatus features, presentations by all departments from electrical and manufacturing to marketing, a plant tour with equipment demonstrations showcasing the company’s capabilities, as well as an introduction to the new website and online merchandise store.

September 17, 2017 – Colona Fire Department hosted their 1st Annual Great American Emergency Services Vehicle Show at the Colona Fire Department in Colona, Illinois. Local departments and organizations attended the event to showcase their fire and emergency apparatus which featured 40 vehicles including the Pink Fire Truck for Cancer Awareness.
Alexis Fire Equipment was well represented at the event with not only an AFE Demo and Brush Truck #SK847, but also some local departments including Geneseo Fire Protection District and Hillsdale Fire Protection District who displayed their Alexis custom-built apparatus.
Firefighters, family and friends gathered to explore vehicles, talk trucks, enjoy music and food (including free root beer floats), water fights, and a special fly-in appearance from a MedForce Transport helicopter. Alexis Fire Equipment Company was recently awarded the IAFPD Distinguished Member Award while attending the Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts (IAFPD) Annual Conference June 22 – 24 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. The IAFPD Conference offers ample continued education hours, interactive tradeshow with fire trucks, ambulances, technology and specialized services, as well as entertaining social events with food, beverages, and music. The 75th Annual Conference had 382 attendees representing 153 fire protection districts across Illinois. Alexis Fire Equipment was joined by 62 other tradeshow vendors and numerous supporting sponsors.

Alexis, Illinois – May 24, 2016 – Alexis Fire Equipment announced it will become partners with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The current partnership will be effective between April 16, 2016 and April 15, 2017 and Alexis will donate $1,000 for every fire and medical unit sold within the Continental United States.
Donations will be used to help patients like Gracie, who, prior to her diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), didn’t want her belly touched because of what her mom feared was an appendicitis. ALL, a type of blood cancer, is the most common form of cancer in children.
