A Fully Bonded Company. Alexis Fire Equipment was founded in 1947 by Gene Morris when the initial facility employed four men and accommodate three to four units at a time. Gene recalls, "We began to grow rapidly and it was due only to a lot of dedication and pure hard work." Since Alexis opened its doors, we have taken pride in both the positive attitude of our employees and the quality of our work.
Since the beginning, the Alexis family has worked together for a common cause — to make equipment safer for the men and women who save lives every day. This goal remains true today under the guidance of Gene's son, Jeff Morris, president of Alexis Fire Equipment.

Growing to Serve You Better. In 2003, AFE Service Division moved to a new 14,000 square foot facility that has increased floor space and parts area to better serve our customers. The new Alexis Service Center, which was the former lumber yard building nearby, can handle twice as many fire trucks as before. Also added area in service department for body and paint repair.

Great People. Great Service. The Service Department of Alexis is headed by Brian Dillbeck. With close to thirty years experience, there aren't many apparatus repairs Brian hasn't tackled. This hands-on experience guarantees a repair job you can count on. "A lot of shops can't offer the kind of service we have," Dillbeck says. "For us, it's a personal thing. We take a lot of pride in what we do. We don't farm anything out. If there's something to be fixed, we fix it."
Our service personnel have attended OEM training seminars at Hale, Class One and Waterous and have also continued to obtain their EVT certifications. |
