Tazewell County Meeting
September 13, 2006

On September 13th the monthly Tazewell County Firefighter's Association Meeting was held at the Mackinaw Fire Department in Mackinaw, Illinois. Fire Chief Paul Miller and his department provided pork chops sandwiches, bake beans and potato salad for the guests. The training for the evening was provided by Nicor Gas Company. They split the crowd into two groups each going through the classroom training and then a hand's on burn outside with the props brought in by Nicor. This natural gas awareness training and actual hands on training was a benefit for all the departments involved. Mackinaw Fire and Tremont Fire provided the apparatus for the training.
