Extrication Testing, Pesotum, Illinois

Alexis Fire Equipment was one of the fire and rescue equipment companies that provided rescue equipment for the extrication training that was held outside of Pesotum, IL on the 9th of July '05. Alexis Fire Equipment provided American Genesis brand equipment for the event.

The event was organized and managed by the Sadorus Fire Protection District from Sadorus, IL, and was attended by firefighters from Sadorus, as well as, Pesotum Fire Department, Philo Fire Protection District, and Tolono Fire Department.

Chief Carl Culkin from the Sadorus Fire Protection District Supervised the training. The site was prepared in advance by members of the Sadorus fire protection district. A number of cars and buses were oriented in various positions to represent different types of vehicle crash scenes.
